Buying or selling tickets outside of Tikkio

Tikkio always recommends purchasing tickets through the event organizer’s official sales channel. If you buy or sell tickets privately, the ticket should always be transferred to the new holder through Tikkio.

When a ticket is transferred, it is registered to the new holder and ownership is transferred to the recipient’s Tikkio account.

To transfer a ticket:

  1. Log in to Tikkio.

  2. Select the relevant event.

  3. Click “Transfer” on the ticket you wish to transfer.

  4. Enter the recipient’s email address.

The recipient must accept the transfer before it is completed.

Please note that a ticket can only be transferred once. Once a ticket has been transferred and accepted by the recipient, it cannot be transferred to another person.

Tips for buyers

  • Always ask the seller to transfer the ticket to your own Tikkio account.

  • Avoid purchasing tickets that are only shared as screenshots or PDF files when ticket transfer is available.

  • Make sure you have received the ticket in your own account before completing the payment.

Tips for sellers

  • Transfer the ticket directly to the buyer through Tikkio.

  • Keep your communication with the buyer until the transfer has been completed.

  • Make sure the buyer has received and accepted the transfer.
