Transfer a Ticket to Another Person

If someone else will be using your ticket, you can easily transfer it directly through Tikkio.

When a ticket is transferred, ownership is moved to the recipient. The recipient receives the ticket in their own Tikkio account, while the original ticket becomes invalid.

This is the safest way to share or transfer tickets, whether it’s to friends, family members, or through a private resale.

How to Transfer a Ticket

  1. Log in to Tikkio.

  2. Select the relevant event.

  3. Click Transfer on the ticket you want to transfer.

  4. Enter the recipient’s email address.

  5. Confirm the transfer.

The recipient must accept the transfer before it is completed.

What Happens When a Ticket Is Transferred?

Once the recipient accepts the transfer:

  • The ticket is moved to the recipient’s Tikkio account

  • The original ticket becomes invalid

  • The recipient receives access to their own ticket

Return a received ticket

Have you received a ticket from another Tikkio user but want to send it back?

As long as the ticket has not been used, you can return it to the person who originally transferred it to you.

How to return a ticket:

  1. Log in to Tikkio.

  2. Go to Tickets.

  3. Open the event the ticket belongs to.

  4. Click Return ticket on the relevant ticket.

  5. Confirm your choice.

Once the return is completed:

  • The ticket is transferred back to the original owner.

  • The ticket is removed from your account.

  • You will no longer have access to the ticket.

Important Information

  • A ticket can only be transferred once.

  • The transfer is not completed until the recipient has accepted it.

  • Make sure you enter the correct email address for the recipient.

Can I cancel a transfer?

If the recipient has not yet accepted the transfer, you can cancel it through Tickets on https://tikkio.com/. If the transfer is not accepted within 72 hours, it's automatically cancelled.

Does the recipient need a Tikkio account?

Yes. If the recipient does not already have a Tikkio account, they will be asked to create one when accepting the transfer.
